Description
The 60-acre Freeport Regional Sports Complex can be accessed via Great Hammock Bend or Bay Loop Road. In designing the city park, attention to all aspects was fully researched. Some of the elements that were examined were the interaction of one sport or activity with another, pedestrian and vehicular traffic, the parks accessibility to the community, the preservation of its natural elements and activities for all ages to enjoy. At the Regional Sports Complex you will find 5 lighted baseball fields, 2 lighted multipurpose fields for soccer & football, lighted basketball & tennis courts, as well as a beach volleyball court, 18-hole disc golf course, 4 sets of restrooms, 3 concession stands, 1-mile long walking trail, batting cages, splash pad and large playground.
Although the Freeport Regional Sports Complex does not allow animals in the park, we do welcome leashed service animals.
